SEALED PROPOSALS addressed to the City Council of the City of Crowley, Texas will be received at the Crowley City Hall until 2:00 PM. on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY, 23, 2023, for the purpose of all work required in the construction of 1,379 square yards of pavement replacement and railroad crossing removal at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud and retained by the City for tabulation, checking and evaluation.
BIDS shall be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank Bid Form in the Contract Documents booklet. The entire Contract Documents’ booklet must be returned in a sealed envelope with the following forms filled out and signed (if necessary); Bid Form, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Form, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, Local Government Officer Conflicts Disclosure Statement, Vendor Compliance to State Law form, Contractor Compliance to Texas Sales Tax Code form. The Bid Bond for five (5%) percent of the total bid must be included in the sealed envelope with the bid. The sealed envelope shall be marked "Sealed Documents for: Quiet Zone Improvement Project (Magnolia and Mustang) -DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 2:00 P.M. on FEBRUARY, 23, 2023,” at which time bids will be opened publicly and read.
Plans and contract documents may be examined without charge at the Crowley City Hall, 201 E Main Street, Crowley, Texas 76036, or a pdf copy of the plans or contract documents may be obtained free of charge on https://www.civcastusa.com/ under the following project name QUIET ZONE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (MAGNOLIA AND MUSTANG) project.
In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after date on which bids are opened.
