Trash Pick-up

WASTE CONNECTIONS TRASH / RECYCLING PROGRAM

The City of Crowley contracts solid waste collection and recycling with Waste Connections for all residential customers.  Commercial customers can contact and select a service provider of their choice.


Collection Day

Please have all garbage out at the curb by 7 a.m. Garbage will be picked up anytime between 7-5 p.m. Bags must be loaded so as to weigh no more than 50 pounds per bag or trash bin.

*Waste Connections is not responsible for loose trash or damage to cans or containers.

Missed Pickup

If you missed garbage pickup, please contact Waste Connections at 817-222-2221.


Collectible Items

Garbage

  • Bottles
  • Cans
  • Clothes
  • Other household waste
  • Refuse or vegetable matter (as from a kitchen or food processing facility)
  • Sacks

Trash

  • Clippings
  • Debris
  • Grass
  • Leaves
  • Weeds
  • Yard

Brush

  • All brush tied and bundled no larger than 48 inches by 24 inches
  • Loose or unbundled brush will not be picked up
  • Collection of the brush is limited to the amount generated by the individual resident.

Note: Brush and tree limbs generated by a landscaping service or tree trimming company will not be collected.

Bulky Waste

  • Bulk pickup items may be put out on the second service day of the week. Up to two (2) cubic yards can be set out on the 2nd pick up day of each week.  See picture below of an estimate of what 2 cubic yards’ measures.
  • * Brush must be cut to a length of 4 (four) feet or less, bundled (tied) together, stacked neatly; and each bundle must not weigh more than 50 (fifty) pounds.
  • All items must be in front of residence or side of residence with 5 feet of roadway/curb, 4 feet from any stationary object and not under any overhanging objects like trees and/or power lines. 

Items must be set out on the service day before 7 a.m. (Any items on vacant lots will not be serviced).

  • Other household appliances and furniture
  • Refrigerators and freezers with a certification report that the CFCs have been removed by a certified technician
  • Gas cans (have to be completely empty and washed out with no cap or nozzle on it)
  • Stoves
  • Washing machines
  • Toilets (empty with base and tank in two separate pieces)
