Tinker Tuesday

Join us on Tuesdays for our active STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) program. This program encourages families to get hands-on and interactive at the library. Throughout the library, there will be age appropriate activities for families to complete together.

Family Place Parent-Child Workshop

Family Place emphasizes the importance of play in early learning and the importance of parents and caregivers to promote and participate in children’s play. All families need information, support and connections to local resources. Our new fun and play-based Parent-Child Workshop is a relaxed informal program where families can play and learn together, make friends and talk one-on-one with child development and early literacy specialists. Workshops are five-week sessions held twice a year. The spring session starts in March and the fall session will be in September.

Spring 2024 Family Place Schedule:

  • March 7 - Speech
  • March 14 - Literacy
  • March 21 - Nutrition
  • March 28 - Early Childhood Development
  • April 4 - Music
