In 1990, Tina got involved with the Crowley Area Chamber of Commerce through her husband's workplace, The Bank of Crowley, and that started her on a path of community service.
After moving into the city in 1998, she looked for ways to serve, including reading to children each week at the Crowley Public Library.
She has a huge heart for the citizens and business owners of Crowley and wants to see more economic development; family-friendly restaurants; and parks and trails improvements, bringing a greater quality of life to the area.
She was first elected to serve on City Council, Place 5, in 2006 and has been re-elected for consecutive terms through 2020 when she decided to take a break to care for elderly parents and in-laws.
Tina is very grateful to be elected for Place 1 in the most recent special election of 2024.
She is dedicated to serve and looking forward to the city's continued growth in the coming years.
Her previous service also incudes the Crowley Library Board, Crowley Crime Control & Prevention District Board, and Economic Development Corporation Board.
