On Sept. 15, 2022, the Crowley City Council passed an amendment to the City Ordinance 09-2022-473 Division IV. This ordinance addressed numerous complaints regarding parking issues on selective streets within the City. Currently, only the following areas are affected:

  • N. Heights
  • Andrew
  • Bryan
  • S. Heights
  • Mathew
  • Celeste
  • Lee Ann
  • Patrick
  • Cindy
  • Randy
  • Pecan
  • Meadowview (to Wilson)
  • Redbud
  • Holly
  • Rose

The ordinance states that no one in control or possessing a motor vehicle will park in the street between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm during school days without a valid residential permit. Upon receipt of a verified application, the Resident will receive two Parking Permits and two additional Visitor Parking Permits. The Residential Parking Permit is a circular sticker printed with your issued permit number. It is not transferrable as it is vehicle specific. This sticker must be placed above your registration sticker on the driver's side of the windshield. The Visitor Parking Permit is a placard to be hung from the rearview mirror with the printed side facing outward during the days and times the ordinance specifies.

You can obtain your parking permits in several ways. The first is to complete the application on the back of the letter mailed to each affected household and return it to the Police Department. Second, is to fill out the printable application below and return it to the Police Department. Another way is by coming to the Police Department to get an application. Lastly, you can go to  MyGov - Crowley, create an account and file your application online. The ordinance states that we must verify that parking permits are issued only to confirmed residents. We ask you to submit a copy of your driver's license and valid vehicle insurance. Once your application is processed, your Parking Permit will be available for pick up at the Police Department or mailed to you.
