Police Reports & Records

The Crowley Police Department’s Police Records Section has a full-time Police Records clerk available to assist residents with requests for accident reports and/or police reports, as well as any Public Information Request as provided by Texas Law.

Hours of Operation

The Records Section is open during normal business hours, Monday-Thursday 7:30.-5:30 p.m., and Friday from 7:30-11:30 a.m. Walk-ins are accepted for police report requests and/or to submit your Public Information Request in person.


Location

The Records Clerk's Office is housed in the department’s main lobby. If this door is locked, please proceed to the Jail Lobby next door where an on-duty dispatcher can assist you.


Report Requests

All reports and records requests must be in writing (email is acceptable). To submit a Records Request by email, please email the PDRecords [at] ci.crowley.tx.us (Records Department). You may also submit an online request through the web form.  To contact the Records Section by phone, dial 817-297-2276, Option 3.


Cost of Copies

The cost for copies of police or accident reports is:

  • 10 cents per page for reports
  • $6 per accident report
  • $1 per media disk
  • $10 per disk and $1 per each full minute of body camera

Availability

Please note that some police/accident reports or records may not be immediately available and will have to be processed. This may take a few days. Under the Texas Public Information Act, the department has 10 business days to respond to any Open Records requests.
