City Elections Administrator
The City Secretary is responsible for conducting municipal elections as prescribed by the Election Code of the State of Texas and the City of Crowley Charter.
The governing and lawmaking body of the city shall consist of the Mayor and six (6) council members who shall be elected for terms of three (3) years. All places, including the mayor, will be elected at-large by a majority vote cast by qualified voters.
Uniform Election Date
Municipal elections are held annually on the first Saturday of May, as authorized by state law. Below are the dates for future upcoming elections.
- May 4, 2024 - Council Place 1 and Council Place 4
- May 3, 2025 - Council Place 2, Council Place 3, and Office of the Mayor
- May 2, 2026 - Council Place 5 and Council Place 6
