NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed Proposals on forms prepared by the Engineer will be received, and then publicly opened and read, for furnishing all labor, material, equipment and performing all work required for the  

PAVING IMPROVEMENTS - OARLOCK DRIVE (Swift Current Dr to Handle Dr)

Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes, and marked in the upper left‑hand corner PAVING IMPROVEMENTS for OARLOCK DRIVE (Swift Current Dr to Handle Dr) will be publicly opened at  2:00 PM (local time) on Tuesday, September 6, 2022  , at THE CROWLEY CITY HALL CONFERENCE ROOM, 201 E. MAIN, CROWLEY, TX 76036

 

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty consisting of either a cashier's check or a Bid Bond on the form included or similar form of Surety Company (FACSIMILES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED RESPONSIVE) made payable to THE CITY OF CROWLEY, and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the required Bonds within the time provided in the “Proposal To The City of Crowley, Texas”.

Bidders should carefully examine the plans, specifications, and other documents; visit the site of the work; fully inform them­selves as to all conditions and matters that can in any way affect the work or the costs thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies or omissions from the plans, specifications or any other documents or should he/she be in doubt as to the meaning, he/she should at once notify the Engineer and obtain clarification prior to submitting any bid.

Contract Documents for the Project may downloaded or viewed free of charge at the following website.  It is the downloader’s responsibility to determine that a complete set of documents are received.

This website will be updated periodically with Addenda, lists of interested parties, reports or other information relevant to submitting a Proposal for the Project.

Contract Documents may also be secured from the offices of the Engineer, TEAGUE NALL & PERKINS, INC., 5237 N Riverside Dr, Suite 100, Fort Worth, 76137 at a non‑refundable cost of $30.00, check or money order only, for each set of documents so obtained.  Plans, Specifications and Bid Documents do not need to be returned.

Minimum wage rates for all laborers and mechanics on the project must not be less than Federal Wage Decision Publication provided in the Contract Documents and Wage Provisions must particularly comply with all other applicable wage laws of the State of Texas.

The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract at any time within sixty (60) days after the date of receiving bids, or to reject any or all bids and waive any or all formalities.
