The fiscal year for the City of Crowley runs from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 of each year. The city begins its annual budget preparation each spring prior to the upcoming fiscal year. This process includes public hearings to give residents the opportunity to review and comment on the planned budget. Once all details have been finalized, the fiscal budget is then put on the City Council Agenda for action. The City Council then formally adopts the annual budget in accordance with Texas Law and City Ordinance.
