The progress on the railroad crossing and roadway reconstruction at Mustang have been moving well, but not well enough to reopen the roadway or the crossing by this Friday, Dec. 1, as originally anticipated.
BNSF has been onsite working on its aspect of this project and it plans on being finished by the end of today (Nov. 30). The new Mustang road base on both sides of the tracks is ready for asphalt and the concrete median/curb to be installed.
The Mustang crossing will reopen Friday Dec. 15.
