1. What is considered to be high grass or weeds?

Any person in control of property commits an offense if grass and/or weeds are permitted to grow to a height in excess of 12 inches.

2. Whom do I need to contact about a property with high grass or other unsightly conditions?

Please contact the Code Enforcement Officer at 817-297-2201 ext. 3020 with the physical address of the property. If you do not know the physical address, please give a description of where the property is located.

3. I have received a warning notice on my door and my time is up. Can I get an extension of time to correct my violation(s)?

It may be possible, but you will need to contact the code enforcement officer who issued you the warning. The contact information will be on the warning notice.

4. Does Code Enforcement handle abandoned vehicles parked on the street?

No. Code Enforcement only handles vehicles on private property. For abandoned vehicles parked on a city street or highway, please contact the Crowley Police Department at 817-297-2276.
