Crowley Online Permits System

On Monday, Aug. 31, the City of Crowley began using the MyGov permits system, which allows you to apply for most permits online. You can also submit plans and register as a contractor through this system.

Collaborator Fact Sheet

This handout walks you through the process of setting up a collaborator account and using the MyGov system (“collaborators” are contractors, applicants, or anyone else outside the City of Crowley who wants to use MyGov).

PLEASE NOTE: Garage sale permits must be obtained in person at City Hall.

Building Codes

On Feb. 4, 2016, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 02-2016-269 amending Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances to adopt updated versions of the Official Building Codes of the City with Local Amendments; repealing Article IX "Housing Code" of Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances; providing that this ordinance shall be cumulative of all ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing for publication in the official newspaper and providing an effective date. Below is a list of code versions adopted by the City of Crowley.

  •  2011 National Electrical Code (NFPA 70)

 International Codes can be viewed on the International Code Council website and the National Electrical Code can be viewed on the National Fire Protection Association website.
