Current City Boards & Commissions
Becoming a member of a board or commission is one way for Crowley residents to actively participate in local government. These active groups are comprised of residents, appointed by City Council and/or the Mayor. These volunteers are charged with making decisions or advising Council on a variety of issues.
Qualifications
Be a registered voter of the city;
Shall have resided in the city for one year; and
Continue residency in the city during the term of office
Applications
The City of Crowley accepts Applications (PDF) for various boards and commissions for appointment by the City Council. Applications may be submitted at any time for consideration of appointment, and will remain on file for two calendar years. Applicants will be notified of specific board openings as seats are vacated.
Animal Control Advisory Committee
- Meets as needed (annually)
Crowley Crime Control & Prevention District
- Meets at 6 p.m., as needed. July of each year is a required meeting date.

Economic Development Corporation (4B) Board
- Meets as needed (quarterly)
