Annual Celebration of Freedom Event
This event has been rescheduled to Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020.
The City of Crowley takes tremendous pride in this annual celebration of patriotism, family and heritage. The City Council and staff desire to provide a safe and quality event for all involved and felt that we would be unable to do so at this time. The proposed plan is to host the Annual Celebration of Freedom, including all activities in Bicentennial Park on Saturday, Sept. 5, during Labor Day weekend. This event will be complete with a fantastic fireworks show.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we contact all involved in making the necessary arrangements for the new date.
Please follow the City's Facebook page for up-to-date information about the event. We will post periodic updates for this event.
Please contact Julie Hepler, Special Events Coordinator, at 817-297-2201 ext. 7040 or email@example.com for more information regarding this event.
The parade is moving west. The continuing construction on Main Street will impact the traditional parade route, so the course has been modified. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. from the intersection of Eagle Drive and W. Main Street. The parade will continue west down Main Street and turn on S. Oak Street. It will end and disperse at the intersection of S. Oak and Peach Street.
Please avoid parking on Main Street from Eagle Drive to Beverly Street. Suggested viewing areas include Crowley High School, CISD Administration building and surrounding areas.
