Annual Celebration of Freedom Event

This event has been rescheduled to Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020.

With care and concern for the health and safety of the thousands of residents and visitors that attend this event, the decision was made to postpone. This decision was informed by the current public health crisis and recommendations from the Governor of Texas and the CDC concerning large social gatherings.

The City of Crowley takes tremendous pride in this annual celebration of patriotism, family and heritage. The City Council and staff desire to provide a safe and quality event for all involved and felt that we would be unable to do so at this time. The proposed plan is to host the Annual Celebration of Freedom, including all activities in Bicentennial Park on Saturday, Sept. 5, during Labor Day weekend. This event will be complete with a fantastic fireworks show.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we contact all involved in making the necessary arrangements for the new date.

Please follow the City's Facebook page for up-to-date information about the event. We will post periodic updates for this event.

Please contact Julie Hepler, Special Events Coordinator, at 817-297-2201 ext. 7040 or for more information regarding this event.

It will end and disperse at the intersection of S. Oak and  Peach Street.
