Residential Sprinkler System Evaluation Program

The City of Crowley, in cooperation with the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD), is proud to offer a free sprinkler system evaluation program for our residential customers

The free evaluation will provide homeowners with basic knowledge of how their sprinkler systems work, feedback on the current condition of equipment and recommendations for improvement. When an appointment is scheduled, a licensed irrigator will perform a 45-minute assessment with the resident.

A summary of results and recommendations will then be provided. This program is not a sales pitch for additional contracting services, and you will be under no pressure to make specific changes. We hope this opportunity will assist Crowley residents to efficiently manage outdoor water use.

Please follow this link to request a free sprinkler system evaluation.

Do you live in the city limits of Crowley?

The 76036 Crowley ZIP Code encompasses more than just the city of Crowley. Some people have the 76036 ZIP Code who actually live in Tarrant County, Johnson County, Fort Worth or the Fort Worth Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).

The simplest way to know if you are in the city limits of Crowley is if you pay your water and garbage bill to the City of Crowley.

Here is another great tool for you to use as a cross-reference to find out exactly where you live and where your taxes go.

Remember, what we are sharing with you is public information that can be viewed by anyone who visits the Tarrant Appraisal District website. (Also, TAD regularly updates its site, so some of the newer homes may not show up just yet.)

1. Visit TAD.org
2. On the main page, you’ll see Property Search. Enter your address “1234 Jones” (don’t put street, drive, road, circle, etc), and your information will pop up.
3. Click into the account number associated with your address and you will see the location of your property and Property Data.

This is an example of someone who lives in Crowley and where the taxes go:

006 CITY OF CROWLEY
220 TARRANT COUNTY
912 CROWLEY ISD
224 TARRANT COUNTY HOSPITAL
225 TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE

This is an example of someone who lives in Tarrant County (but not in a city in Tarrant County) and where the taxes go:

220 TARRANT COUNTY
912 CROWLEY ISD
224 TARRANT COUNTY HOSPITAL
225 TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE
222 EMERGENCY SVCS DIST #1

Here is an example of someone who lives in Fort Worth and where the taxes go:

026 CITY OF FORT WORTH
220 TARRANT COUNTY
912 CROWLEY ISD
223 TARRANT REGIONAL WATER DISTRICT
224 TARRANT COUNTY HOSPITAL
225 TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE

As some of the examples above show, if you pay Crowley ISD taxes, it doesn’t mean you are in the city limits of Crowley.

Also attached, is a map of the city limits of Crowley for you to use for future reference.

As Crowley City Manager Robert Loftin said in our first episode of “This Week in Crowley,” which is conducted on the city’s Facebook page via Facebook Live every Wednesday at 2 p.m., the city — by law — is limited in providing city services to those who live outside the city limits of Crowley.

Hopefully, this information will help you better understand exactly where you live inside the 76036 ZIP Code, who you may need to call for your specific issue and where your tax dollars go.
