Crowley Texas

A City Governed by the People

Welcome from Chief Luis Soler

Welcome, and thanks for visiting the Crowley Police Department’s virtual home. I hope you will find this site useful and informative, as it has been designed to keep you better informed about your department. The Crowley Police Department is a full service 24/7 organization serving the citizens and visitors of this City with pride and honor. On July 2013, the Crowley Police Department became the 83rd Texas law enforcement agency to achieve “Recognized” status by the TX Police Chief’s Association Best Practices Program, an achievement that took over two years of hard work by all members of our organization, and something all of us are extremely proud of. For more information on the Best Practices Recognition Program, go to www.texasrecognition.org.

 Chief with TPCA BP

Our new, state of the art main facility is located at 617 Business FM 1187 West, next to the Fire Station No.2, in the Municipal Building Complex. The Crowley police department is staffed by 52 dedicated and hard working employees, including 32 full time sworn police officers, 15 civilians, and 5 volunteers.

The Crowley Police is committed to providing top notch police services in both an efficient, and effective manner. We strongly believe in the community policing philosophy, and see ourselves as partners with numerous community stake holders, whose common goals are to improve quality of life, prevent and deter criminal activity, and solve problems together. We value the community we serve and our goal is to treat others with respect, integrity, and impartiality.  Our Department has numerous community programs and activities that are aimed at strengthening the ties between law enforcement and those we serve. Please feel free to look around our site to learn more about this great organization which I am extremely proud to serve and lead as Chief of Police.

On behalf of the men and women who selflessly and passionately work day and night to keep you, your family, and the community safe, we thank you for your support. If you have any questions, suggestions, commendations, or complaints, please let us know and we will promptly address you concerns or issues. As always, please be safe out there, be mindful of your surroundings, and report any suspicious or unusual activity to 911.
