Spring Concert Series Friday Nights in April come experience concerts in Bicentennial Park. Concerts start at 7:30 p.m. at Bicentennial Park stage. Bring the family, lawn chairs, blankets and sing the night away with some of your favorites. This event is free to the public. Celebration of Freedom Mark your calendars for July 11, 2015. This grand event is to express gratitude and support for the U.S. military and their families. The activities include a parade in the morning and then the afternoon in Bicentennial Park featuring musical entertainment, a variety of food, arts and crafts vendors, a baby contest and more. Haunted Hayride PLEASE NOTE; THIS EVENT HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY CANCELED, DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER AND WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED FOR THIS YEAR.
The weekend before Halloween is the annual Haunted Hayride, mark your calendar for Saturday, October 24, 2015, from 7:00 pm until 9:30 pm. for the festivities. Admission is 1 canned good to be donated to the Crowley House of Hope.
Bicentennial Park comes alive with ghost and goblins as the haunted hayride makes its way through the woods. There are activities such as game booths, face painting and food vendors and more; including a new hayride for younger children.

Christmas Tree Lighting Festivities The official lighting of the City Christmas tree at City Hall is the 1st Friday in December. The Mayor lights the tree at 6 p.m. followed by children's activities and crafts, performances from local organizations and a visit from Santa.
